Why would they even offer this in IMail?  Isn't it need for other servers to
bounce your mail back to you?

You must uncheck "Refuse NULL <> Senders" in your SMTP
config in order to be RFC-compliant.

The only "bug" in Imail is allowing you to refuse such
mail!  The default is to allow <>, which is good.
