On the IMAIL admin general tab there is a field for Local Host.
Whatever you put in that field is where Imail will deliver mail to
a userid with no domain. Normally this field is "localhost" but
you can change it to another domain. If that domain has a nobody
alias and no account by the name "userid" then it should work. Or
I think it should.

It could sure. But IMAIL treats IMAP pretty much the same as it
does SMTP so I'm jut not sure. Maybe someone else will know.
