Either one is fine, just so long as there is a corresponding A record. IE
if the PTR record 192.168.114.112 resolves to example.com, you need an A
record for example.com that points back to 192.168.114.112. Otherwise, you
might occasionally run into problems.

It's found as "Host Name" on the General tab of IMail Administrator, when
"localhost" is highlighted on the left side of the screen.
