For a quick estimate, go to a command prompt, go to the \IMail\spool
directory, and type:
FIND "ldeliver" sys####.txt /C
FIND "rdeliver" sys####.txt /C
FIND "gdeliver" sys####.txt /C
That will get counts of the number of local deliveries, remote deliveries,
and gateway deliveries. It does not take into account multiple recipients,
however (IE if a spammer sends an E-mail to 20 of your local users, it will
get counted as 1 E-mail, not 20).
