IMGate and Declude both can use RBL servers (MAPS is RBL commercial), but
I'm finding that RBL is just one contributor to the defenses, not the best
or biggest, looks at these IMGate reject stats for yesterday:
6 Other
8 SMTP invalid [EMAIL PROTECTED]
10 RBL dynablock.wirehub.net
25 SMTP unauthorized pipelining
34 RBL orbs.dorkslayers.com
35 RBL relays.visi.com
37 ACL header checks
68 DNS timeout for MTA PTR hostname
70 ACL unauthorized relay
95 SMTP Bad HELO
115 ACL body checks
156 RBL proxies.relays.monkeys.com
203 DNS nxdomain for MTA PTR hostname
203 RBL blackholes.wirehub.net
279 RBL relays.ordb.org
439 ACL from_senders bogus
624 DNS no A/MX for @recipient.domain
780 ACL unknown local user
824 ACL mta_clients_black
1254 ACL [EMAIL PROTECTED] SLET
1453 DNS no A/MX for @sender.domain
you can see that ACL and DNS rejects total far more than than RBL rejects
(this ISP doesn't use a lot of RBL servers, but even still...)
