That's because the software you are using to send the E-mail is broken:

 > Date: Mon, 29 Jul 102 21:09:51 -0400

It says the year is "102".  Some mail clients will treat that correctly (as 
the year 102), others will treat it as 2002, others will treat it as if 
there was no date.

It is a Y2K problem with the mail client ("display the year minus 1900", 
the software is saying, instead of "display the year" or "display the last 
2 digits of the year"), not a problem with the date on your computer.
