It  may.  You need to be delegated authority over Reverse DNS for your
range,  otherwise  the  general  public  will continue to consult your
ISP's  DNS.  And  if a receiving server is being extra-strict with PTR
records,  this  would  cause  a  mismatch.  But  realize that the vast
majority  of servers will not care, anyway, as long as your PTR exists
somewhere.
