Hey guys,
We're currently using Imail 7.06 HF1. What we're trying to do is, running the builtin adddomin.exe and adduser.exe commands remotely.
Well, the problem is simple. They only work if they're executed within the Imail server computer inside.
Not remotely executed..
I'm trying to apply the command from the client computer to the Imail server, and the command line goes like this.
\\Hostname_of_the_Imail_Server\Imail\adddomain.exe -h test1.com -i VIRTUAL
If I execute this command in the Imail machine, then It all works fine, it creates the virtual domain, etc..
However, If I try to execute it via a client computer, then one line goes blank (as of successful command) and I check the mail administrator for Imail and there is nothing in there.. Absolutely nothing.. Not even in the registry..
NOW, things get even funnier after that, If apply the same command again from the remote client, it replies me back with an errror saying "ERROR :  test1.com exists! "
It behaves like it created the virtual domain, and gave me the error above..but there is absolutely nothing in the Imail server..
Any idea what might cause this to happen ?
Thank you.
Serhan.
