It has been slowly known that there are random problems with IE 6.0 on
Windows 98se, and should not be used on Windows 98 or earlier. Our
standard for Windows98se and earlier remains at IE 5.5 SP2.

Sounds like another AOL issue. While I am not familiar with this
problem, I have noted that on many sign up forms for e-mail newsletters,
there is a note at the bottom instructing that if the person is on AOL,
they must choose plain text mode. Are the messages that are trying to be
forwarded in HTML or plain text?
