Scott, You are correct, I don't get a SMTP greeting from them telnetting from the Imail box. It seems kinda odd though, from the day we set up the Imail box, we were never an open relay, nor have we been listed in ORDBs or similar lists. Does anyone know what organization runs that domain? Or their competence levels? :) Nevermind..... I'll track it down on this side....

Any help would be appreciated. The "s: s" is a socket error of some sort, which in this case would likely mean that twcny.rr.com hung up on you. If that is the case, then IMail would queue the E-mail for later delivery (since it received a response) rather than trying the backup MX records. Can you telnet to their SMTP server (specifically, 24.92.226.31, not one of their backups) from the IMail server? I'm guessing if you try it from the IMail server, you won't even get the SMTP greeting (which would mean that they are broken, perhaps they tried blacklisting you but didn't do it properly). -Scott To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
