When you say you rebuilt the server did you use the Compaq SmartStart Disk to install the OS or did you just install the OS. Using the SmartStart disk and making sure you have all the latest updates is the easiest way to make sure you don't have "Compaq problems".

I'm having the same problem, have been trying to fix it for weeks now, have moved IMail to its own server, after rebuilding the PC, also have replaced the memory, have done all the patches, up to 7.12 now. So far no one has been able to fix it, nor has anyone a clear solution, Reinstalling IMail did not fix it either, I believe it is most definitely a IMail problem, they have no solution on their web site either. If you type in pop3d32 under knowledge base, they have nothing. I need some help! Anyone???
