"Their  original  mail  addresses"  presupposes  that  they  have  any
legitimate  means of communication whatsoever. The question is not how
"real" an address is, but how often it is used.

You  have  not  found  a  bug.  The kill file is of limited usefulness
relative  to  true preventatives like Declude/IMGate, but not useless.
By  definition,  it is effective for repeated MAIL FROM: addresses, so
you  have  to  keep  really up-to-date, hopefully merging others' kill
files  with  your own data and trimming out obsolete addresses to save
resources, for it to be worthwhile.
