O.k., Imail says it's a DNS resolution problem.  The IMail server isn't
getting a response to its DNS queries.  The server's behind an MS ISA
Firewall, which had not been a problem previously for sending or receiving.
We tried different protocol/packet filter combinations, to no avail.  

I'll keep looking into this and report back the solution (if any).

OK, we have determined what the problem is.  SMTP isn't working, due to the 
"TCP 14" error.  If the information in the Knowledge Base doesn't help, 
you'll need to contact Ipswitch.
