All, I have a client who insists on using the mail program built into Netscape Navigator (ver. 7.0) for accessing his mail from my Imail server. Currently, I only allow relay by address, but am gradually moving towards eliminating that and going straight for NO relay, and forcing SMTP AUTH. Here is the problem... I downloaded Netscape 7.0 myself, and can find no setting whatsoever for authentication. The only option it seems to offer is using SSL for mail.
Perhaps I am just overlooking something, but does anyone know if it is even possible to use SMTP AUTH with any version of Netscape's mail program? Thanks!
