Additionally....If you are using an external DNS server, AND a firewall that works per connection(allows only x connections, then drops packets), you must plan ahead for the fact that for each incoming mail, Deculde will spawn 5 - 10 external connections to the DNS server and possibly to the various black hole databases you have configured for checking.
This is probably not an issue for most but if you have a super busy server and an under-rated firewall, it could potentially be an issue based on the extra outgoing connections Declude creates. -----Original Message----- From: Troy Hilton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, October 02, 2002 10:31 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Declude Junkmail No worries, Mate. Runs like a charm and doesn't bog down the server. I just installed it a couple of weeks ago and it's been a godsend. Suggestions: 1) Take your time in configuring it. It can be a bit tricky and if done incorrectly you can catch legit emails. 2) Subscribe to the Declude JunkMail user list. Troy D. Hilton SofWerks LLC.
