I have a list setup with more than 1700 e-mail addresses. I just set this list up. I have setup other lists with no problems, but they are all small lists with less than 50 people subscribed. This list is meant to have a weekly e-mail sent out by only those in the Posters List.
I am using IMail 7.12 on Win2K. The problem is that the message that the list moderator sent out this morning keeps being resent. I've received 5 copies of it now, and I should have only received one. Subscribers are all sending in complaints that they keep getting the same e-mail over and over again. One unusual thing too is that the list is setup with a header and footer, but the header and footer is not being inserted into the e-mail. I copied the list of e-mail addresses in as a text file so that I wouldn't have to add them in one by one. I don't know if I did something to mess this up. The e-mail addresses can be viewed fine in both the IMail administrator and the web interface. I don't know where to look or what to do. Please help me. First, how can I stop the list from its constant resending of mail. Second, how do I fix it so that it doesn't happen again. If I need to troubleshoot to answer these questions, please tell me where to begin. Thanks.
