I got an error like this once before and was able to fix it with this?

In your Outlook try the following.
Tools | Account | Mail | your email account (Properties)
Server Tab | Account Name : username/mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server
[check] My Server requires authentication
[Settings] Button |
[DOT] Log on using | type in your "Username & password"
Then apply all the changes.
