You can inject a message into the queue, then use SMTP32.EXE to send it out; you'll 
have to create a D file, which is the RFC 821 body/header piece, and a Q file, which 
is the routing/control file.  The format of the latter is undocumented and subject to 
change, though it is easy to figure out the current format.  Search the archives (you 
should always do this before posting) and you will see a plethora of threads on this 
subject.

If you want a quicker and easier fix, run MS SMTP itself on your box (on a different 
port, of course) and set its gateway to localhost.  Then you can continue to drop into 
the same Pickup folder, and the files will then be looped back to be sent out by IMail.
