That's actually 3 defenses that it slipped through (WebShield's file
extension blocking, WebShield's virus scanning, and the IMail rules to
block file extensions). However, there are lots of tricks that can be used
to bypass content scanning (such as file extension blocking).
Unfortunately, the only way to find out for sure what the problem is is to
have a copy of the original E-mail in its raw format (in an .mbx file on
the server). If you can do that, you can use web messaging to copy it to a
new folder (so there aren't any other E-mails in it), and send it to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (then send an E-mail without the attachment to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) and we can analyze it for you (even though you may
not be a customer of ours now, it sounds like you may be soon!).
