Today I experienced something I can't explain. All users and Aliases for one of the domains configured on our IMail server disappeared. I was able to recover them, and because the user directories still existed, we didn't lose much mail.
My question is, what could inadvertently cause this and could this be an exploit of a hole that wasn't patched? Thank you.
