Well I use the set it and forget it option. And have not had any
issuse in 6 months.

Seems a first to have been running once a day now it is more like
every 3 or so days.

Note: I do have it set to only defrag between 3am and 5am. It takes
about 1 hour to do all drivers. Maybe less.
 raid 1 2/18gb OS/Websites
 Raid 1 2/18gb Imail partion/MBX partion
disk 1/18gb pages files 2 partions 3.5gb each /3gb partion empty
disk 1/18gb spool 5 gb partion /1gb viruse hold partion/3 gb partion
 empty

Also make sure your backups run befor the defrag and are finished.
Always backup!!!

Side Note: I started using BackupExe 8.6 with open file option with a
VXA tape drive and I have clean error free backups on the live
web/email server 99.9% of the time. Open file option is great.
Backups are even better!

I/O and clean disk are key to any web/email server with any type of
load. IMHO
