We are running F-Prot with Declude as our Virus protection. We want to
turn on Real Time Protection for the machine aside from the scanning of
the mail.
Do not do it.

F-Prot's Real-Time Protector will interfere with the E-mail virus scanning on the server. If I recall correctly, the problem is that you can't exclude directories, so it will try scanning the same files that Declude Virus is trying to scan. When this happens, the attachment will be cleaned before Declude Virus scans it, so the E-mail will be delivered (along with the virus).

Has anyone had any experience with F-Prot running in RT Protection or
has any one installed NAV or McAfee along side F-Prot to scan in RT.
NAV or McAfee will work fine on the IMail server, just so long as you exclude the subdirectories off of the \IMail\spool directory.
