Has anyone been able to reconcile the user database Lastlogin and the mailbox lastlog.in file?
I am trying to clean up old users and abandoned accounts. I am running IMail 7.1x on Win2k with an external database in SQL. There is a column in the database called LASTLOGIN. This is a unix timestamp of the last time the user logged in via the web interface. For POP/IMAP users there is a file in the mailbox directory called lastlog.in that has a timestamp of the last time the mailbox was accessed by the user. I have users in the database with <null> lastlogin values, but current lastlog.in files. The Iwebmsg process updates the database, but the POP3d32.exe and IMAP4d32.exe do not. Has anyone written a routine to update the database or create a consolidated activity report ?
