New Imail setup, the installer didn t restrict the relay and you can guess what happened. There are a lot of message in the que and I d like to stop them from going out. Can I just delete the messages in the queue or spool directory? If not, how do I do this. This is probably in the manual someplace but have pity on the newbie, I ve been trying to figure out why everyone else can use my imail except for me. J Yes, I m learning DNS at the same time.
You can delete the messages in the spool directory, just note that for each D*.SMD E-mail file, there is a corresponding Q*.SMD "recipient" file -- you should delete both. Also, it goes without saying that there will likely be some legitimate mail in there, so you should be careful. :)
