We have been doing some maintenance and found that there are "extra files" in the spool dir some dating back to 10/1/02. Most of the files are .smd, there are a few others that appear to be attachments that never were removed from the spool after being sent to the proper box. So with that I have a couple questions. Why would the .smd files remain in the spool for this long? Did these get sent or did they just get lost in the queue? Is it safe to remove the old files?
