You may very well be right but if anyone else says DNS to me this week I'll shoot them. ROFL... JUST kidding. Even after changing the alias to the correct domain, I'm still getting error messages from IOHOSTING.US which is hosted with a different company. GROWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLL lol I'm headed to DNS..

I'm not sure I understand as what I tried to do didn't work: No MX record was found for [EMAIL PROTECTED] Was the result. The add alias is looking for a full e-mail but I tried to setup an alias with the alias being iohosting.net resolving to mail.iohosting.net. Clearly it's not that simple. Now I realize I can do it for every user and I don't expect many users as this domain. So that may be the easiest to do. I was more concern about list, but I suppose I could setup an alias for each list too and there will be probably two. So that too is not a huge issue. Don't know if it will work for a list but I'm off to try. Hey DEVELOPERS if your listening, but why not make IMAIL send to both mail.name.com and name.com by default? Maybe there's a good reason for it, but I don't understand. And please change the default to something other than open relay. :) Thanks, rusty -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:IMail_Forum-owner@;list.ipswitch.com] On Behalf Of Randy Armbrecht Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 6:36 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] domain alias in the IMail admin, click on your domain folder, and simply add your "domain.net" under the alias field.
