we have a batch process that reads through the users folder including only those accounts that do not have a main.inf file (we use the info manager for a reply message for inactive accounts. If the account has a min.inf it's inactive and we don't want to mail them)
once the file is produced use imail1 to send the message. we don't use mailall because we have many inactive accounts that we don't want included in a blanket e-mail. -------------------------------------------- > Hi All- > > Quick question. Just set up IMail and it seems to be working >fine. I want to set up an email address that will send an >email to all of the usersset up on this server. Something >like [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:everyone@;domain.com>. Also, >the email needs to be restricted so thatit will only accept >messages from designated email addresses and be easy to >manage. I'm currently able to do this with the list server, >but I have to maintain the list. I am wondering if there is an easier way? > > Any help is appreciated! > > Thanks, Eric > > > > -------------------------------------------------------- > Eric Stevenson > Network Administrator > New West Products, Inc. > 7510 Airway Road, Ste. 4 > San Diego, CA 92154 > (619) 671-9022 x239 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:estevenson@;spacebag.com> > -------------------------------------------------------- > To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
