How do you "suspend" or stop a user account? I'm using 7.13 and have an account for a terminated employee. I want all email sent to this address returned to the sender with an indication that this email account is not valid.
That's easy; just delete the account.
Ah, that's a different story -- you want to accept all E-mail to any possible address on your domain, except for one. That's a bit trickier.I can't just delete the account because I have a "nobody" alias on the domain that would redirect incoming email to another user.
There is no "clean" solution to this problem -- the "nobody" alias is designed to catch *all* E-mail to accounts that do not exist.I've had this delimma before and worked around it by setting max mailbox messages to 1. I can do that here but would rather have a cleaner solution.
I believe people have set this up before, by either using autoresponders or having the mail forwarded (as aliases to?) a non-existent address that would cause a real bounce message.
