Do you mean that "non RFC compliant, defacto standard that most businesses rely on every day client" called Outlook?
The fact is, RFC compliant or not, Outlook IS used by a large number of business (and consumer) clients. I have seen a lot of requests for and discussions of this functionality on this list in the past. Personally, I would love it!
