Running 7.13 on NT

We have a private list for announcements using the posters list option.
Recently several messages from "outsiders" have been distributed to the
users. I have not been able to figure out why.

The email that everyone gets has different senders
([EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and state that a
message with a virus had been blocked. But the logs show that they come
from the same account lesrodgers@(local-isp). I am contacting the local
ISP about this user, but it doesn't change the fact that the sender is
not in the posters list and should have been rejected.

Any thoughts. Am I missing something about the use of the posters list.

Thanks,
John
