Matt, I have a Firebox II running 6.0. I setup the firewall to NAT all SMTP and POP3 traffic my internal imail server (I ran into too many funky problems using the Firebox's SMTP filtering). I also setup the Firebox authentication (Domain Users), so that an outside user has to authenticate through the Firebox before they can download or send e-mail. I think this is relatively secure. It will be interesting to see what everyone else has to say about it. <grin>
BTW - I am running Declude Junk and Virus on my iMail server with No Relay set. So in the mean time does any one have a quick fix to stop these relay tests to pass so I can get off of a couple of black lists. Also it would be too much of a headache to try and use the IP address relay settings.
