I am in the process of acquiring an older compaq 1950 which will be a
Dual PII @ 400MHz with 256MB of RAM. I will probably run RAID 1 on this
with 18.1GB HDDs.

I planned on logically partitioning the RAID container so that the OS
and Programs sit on one drive (5GB), the log files on another (2GB), the
page file on a third partition (2GB), and the user mail boxes on a
fourth partition (8GB). Will these multiple partitions allow better
performance or am I wasting my time? Currently the avg size of the
IMail log file is 2.9 MB in size. I don't see them growing
exponentially in a short amount of time.

Lastly, when I add Declude Junk and Hijack will the log files jump in
size by a substatial enough amount to dicatate any other changes? Is
the Proc and RAM enough for Imail and Deculde?

Any suggestions or constructive critcism?

Many Thanks guys,
