I'm not sure how your topology is setup.. trying to follow it but not clear.
If you are using the 'localhost' file then that's a different issue - could
you rename the localhost file and try sending mail?  Re-reading the posts..
could it be that you have conflicting ip addresses or names within your
server?  You're not running your own DNS Server are you? The log file you
sent shows that your local host, 127.0.0.1, is trying to connect to
hotmail/yahoo, which is fine, but the mx fails.  I've seen many post
concerning hotmail/yahoo/aol failing mx connects.  Can you telnet to hotmail
via the server that has a problem?
