> How about "problematic" limit? :) You can have 100,000+ aliases with performance that is still favorable vs., for instance, ODBC users. The question is whether you truly *need* so many, as there is no "roundtrip" synchronization with the local userbase, and thus your alias list needs to pruned separately.
