Hi all

In the last days some of our users has had problems reading their
pop3-mailbox on our server.
In all cases the mailbox contains mails with a size over 1 MB.
The POP3-Client reads all messages until he cames to the big message.
Then he blocks an do no delete any message on the server.

In the logfiles we can se error messages like:

(000003B8) send error aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd. 10053
(!08X!) aborted message read
D:\IMail\mail_domain_com\Users\info\main.POP
POP3D (000003b8) reset mailbox

The clients are connected over ISDN (64k) to the server.
I've searched in the IPSwitch-KB without results.
We've in use Imail v6.06, the server is a Pentium 800 MHz (between
0-20%) with 256 MB Ram and enough diskspace.

Can this be a traffic-problem between server and client (not enough
bandwith and a resulting timeout) or should I search the error on the
server?

If I delete the big messages on the server the client can read without
problem. In some cases the main.mbx-file is locked.

Markus
