The second method (not a hack, IMO) would certainly be recommended for future manageability, plus a temporary alias for the old ID pointing to the new one. > I would think you could do something like right-click on the userID to > change it, or am I missing something staring me in the face? You can't do this when using the IMail default database, essentially because the Win32 API does not support the necessary rename as a one-step process.
