Title: Secondary Mail for Subdomains

I provide secondary MX's for another system.  The other system uses 'subdomains' or third level qualifiers for many of their smaller clients.

I am presently set up as follows: SMTP Security is set to Relay Mail for Addresses and their IP range is properly set up.  I have a host file entry for the primary domain name and mail relay works just fine for that domain as well as a number of others.  The format of my Hosts File record is   1.2.3.4  domain.com

Mail to domain.com relays just fine.  If an attempt is made to relay mail for aaa.domain.com, the mail is rejected with a 550 (good, I'm not an open relay).  If I add a record to the hosts file of 1.2.3.4 aaa.domain.com then the relay works just fine.

Is there a host file "wildcard" or some other method that I can use so that I don't have to set up a separate hosts file entry for each third level or subdomain?

TIA,
