Well Hawk I'm shoot'n from the hip here and no offense meant at all.. but does the server has all service packs installed? have you ensured that the r/w permissions are correct for IUSR_yourserver account? Is this an occasional problem? When you say the file still exsist in the users folder do you mean on there local or within their specific "web email folder"?
