Good morning,

Things are finally pretty much under control here after our ISP went
belly up right before Christmas, without telling anyone. So much for our
class C block of IP addresses.

My new DNS looks ok, except for one thing, that I can see.

For some reason <and I'm sure this was something *I* did>, my reverse
DNS is pointing to my primary nameserver, not the mail server name, even
though they are the same IP address. So far, this doesn't seem to be an
issue, as running Scott's DNSreport tells me I have "passed" the ptr
test. Do I need to worry about this down the road? Do mailservers just
check to make sure the reverse entry exists, or do they actually match
up the host names?

TIA
Sharyn
