Actually, no apologies are necessary, since it's *not* your bad - KWM is supposed to open the msg in a new window when the msg subject is double-clicked and the preview pane is displayed. Current changes in IMail v7.1x make feature behave in an unpredictable way. To disable the double-click behavior on the subject line, simply edit the msgsum.html file (with Notepad).
