A virus slipped through our scanning. Do NOT open anything from me that is from today. Simply delete it and purge it out . What you are looking for is an attachment file that is *.pif.
FYI, this is the "Sobig" virus, that was discovered 3 days ago (and is spreading VERY fast). If you don't have reliable AV protection (not catching a virus after it has been out for 3 days counts as not reliable), you should either consider reliable AV protection or get the AV protection you have working properly (IE downloading new virus definitions at least once a day). For this virus, though, you can block on the return address of "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as a temporary measure, which appears to be the same on all E-mail.

As someone else mentioned, you can consider blocking certain file extensions (such as .pif and .scr). While this won't eliminate viruses, it can significantly help reduce viruses (at a cost, though; for example, most ISPs can't block many file attachments).
