Oh, "obviously." When making an argument that does not consider the precepts of the original question, it is common form to state that your argument is so handicapped. Your "answer" to THIS question is categorically wrong, as the question specifically referred to trusted clients and was submitted by the admin of a hosting company. Your answer to ANOTHER question is right, however. > ok, prove it. show me where these clients-behind-NAT are sending to > random internet MX's and making over 100 connections/hour or per day > to any one of them. Gimme a break: everybody else reading this thread knows we're not talking about this by now (hmm, it's only been mentioned five times that we're talking about hosting). If you don't know one way or the other whether the product under discussion has the capability to specifically exempt certain hosts from auto-blocking (whether or not PostFix can do this is immaterial), you can't assume that other readers will know any better. If you thought the solution to the original question was "just exempt known hosts," and you were sure this could be done, you should've said just that and told the user how--end of story. -Sandy To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
