I am currently rewriting IPlus Info Browser (IPB) for version 4
(http://www.martekware.com) and have come across an intriguing issue. I
don't want to disclose in a public forum exactly what Imail does to decrypt
it's passwords but, in order to properly lay out my issue, let's assume that
I have a hex value of 52 in the encrypted password and a binary value of
110 in the user name. When I do the math, I come up with a negative value
(-58). The legal values are 0 - 255. Does anyone know how the Imail
decrypt routines handle a number that is outside of the legal range?

Thank you,
Evans Martin
