Ian,

You can create a VbScript component using the Microsoft components, Scripting.FileSystemObject and IISSample.RegistryAccess. The component can reside on your mail server and be invoked remotely from .NET or ASP page to directly manage IMail email accounts that reside in the IMAIL registry entries, although it does require some investigation and programming effort.

You can use the Microsoft components, ADODB.Connection and ADODB.Recordset, to manage an external database.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Adding users and domain via ASP.NET?

Hi there,

I wonder if there is a possibilty of adding users and new domain (email) to Imail using ASP.NET.

I know there is a Dos utility but is there a way using ASP.NET or is it a case of creating the Imail database using SQL Server (or similar) and adding records like that?

If anyone can point me in the right direction to information regarding this then that would be really appreciated

THanks

Ian
