Ian,
You can create a VbScript component using the
Microsoft components, Scripting.FileSystemObject
and IISSample.RegistryAccess. The component can
reside on your mail server and be invoked remotely from .NET or ASP page to
directly manage IMail email accounts that reside in the IMAIL registry entries,
although it does require some investigation and programming effort.
You can use the Microsoft components,
ADODB.Connection and ADODB.Recordset, to manage an external
database.
