We use Network Associates (McAfee) NetShield on all of our servers and McAfee VirusScan on all our workstations. They run well (even on our e-mail server with the help of Declude) and require little overhead. We actrually swithced from Norton for exactly the reason you mention!

I'm thinking on changing the Av software to something that runs a little lighter on my computer. Mcafee or Sophos... Unfortunatelly Norton seems to consume a lot of machine resourse to keep it clean.
