Hi, We like to implement List subscription by through the IMAIL Web Messaging. We want user to click on the List name, they want to subcribe and a compose page should appear with "List <list name" to appear in the body of the email & [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the TO field.
When we click onafrom email id in mail read page, it redirects to compose pag, which is in http://<domain.com/<Session Id/newmsg.cgi?mbx=Main&[EMAIL PROTECTED] we tried appending &[EMAIL PROTECTED]&[EMAIL PROTECTED]&sbj=subject to the above URL and itit worked in serting values in CC, BCC & SUnbject field in Compose page. But &text=Body did not work . We got the these tag names(cc,bcc,sbj&text for CC,BCC,Subject & BODY) form taggs.doc in Web folder. If text tag can put value in BODY field, we could use this to pass LIst name and aloow user to subcribe in two clicks. Our query is 1. Can we give a link in the Web Messaging Interface for user to subcribe LIST in two clicks ? 2. Is there a tag to display the session id of the mail login ? Please advise the best solution for automated LIST subcription.
