NO! You must never, ever select anything but 'Do not Relay' or 'Relay for Addresses' in IMail. All other options = open relay. You seem confused about the diff between relaying and local delivery. Relaying is to an off-box recipient, local is to an on-box recipient. No matter what, what you're looking for cannot be done in IMail, or really any MTA at this time: you want to ensure that all local delivery comes MAIL FROM: an address that can definitely receive mail. The closest you'll get is sender address verification, which PostFix and other MTAs make available, and which you could implement in IMail using a custom SMTP handler. Sender address verification only goes so far, since (a) you'll get a ton of false positives that will mean you're not being as draconian as you think you are, since so many sites just accept, then delete, mail to nonexistent local addresses (no harm done there, really); and (b) you will definitely kick out some legitimate mail from misconfigured servers and will have to do band-aid whitelisting. Magdy, you need to search the archives to get in touch with the anti-relay discussions which have been going on since time immemorial on the IMail Forum, then post back with follow-up. -Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
