Hi there, Im running Imail (7.14) with a couple of virtual domains under 1 public ip..
2 of the domains use elaborate rule sets to handle the flow of e-mail, for example: - if a e-mail is send to a address that is not the info or secretary address, then a copy is send to the secretary address and the domain mail archive address. Im using the smtp "copy all mail to box" option, and use a (massive) rules.ima to process the copied mail. Now imagine the rules you would have to create to implement 2 domains that send mail to each other and both implement the above example (with all the usual exceptions for "special" addresses) My rules.ima file is 39 lines.. and anything after line 38 isn't read by iMail because it only reads so many bytes from the rules.ima file (geez).. Im currently experimenting with multiple dedicated mailboxes that can make up for the fact that that are size limitations on one rules.ima file, but thats starting to get quite complex.... My wish list for rules would be: - Ability to use # (or anything) as comment character - Ability to use "if then else" or "select case" in rules.ima (making rule segments) - No maximum size for rules.ima Has anyone any experience with such situations ?, or does anyone have any ideas to do this better?.....
