Greetings all...
What is the correct way of doing what I'm trying to do?
I have various Domain Rules to try to weed out spam. Instead of deleting them outright, I forward them to a particular "user" called uce. However, I keep getting 5 copies of each message. After thinking about this, DUH!, of course I'll get 5 copies because the Domain Rules are being applied to this one account as well, and I know IMail cuts loops off at 5 tries.
So, with that in mind, these are my ideas that I'd like some guidance with:
* Can I somehow 'turn off' the domain rules on that one user only? * Do I need to set up a virtual domain and forward the messages there? * I don't want to send the messages to a Spam mailbox in each user's account, because they normally don't access the webmail and would never think to check it. * Can I somehow set up a user rule in 'uce' to do something?
(btw, IMail 7.14, approx. 50 users, approx. 3-400 emails received/day)
Any and all help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
