Hi all,

Anybody got a link to a good reliable disk benchmark program. I'm currently
trying to find out why it takes three times the time to zip logfiles on our
Imail server than on a webserver with the same cpu/mem. The only real
difference between the two machines is that the mailserver discs is
SCSI/RAID1 while the webserver is plain SCSI.

When I start the zip program on the webserver, the CPU usage averages 95%
whil it's zipping logfiles. On the mailserver, the CPU is hovering about 15%
- never higher. Strange.....

Thanks

/Rasmus
